Prerequisite: Kumihimo 101. Previous experience with Half-Round helpful, but not required.
Technique Learned: 8-Warp Half-Round Braid. Braiding with beads.
What Will I Actually Make in Class? The Half-Round braid is done on the same round disk as the basic braid you learned in Kumihimo 101. The difference is the move sequence. These new moves result in a braid that is domed (half-round) on top and flat on the back. Most students braid 6″-8″ in class – enough for a bracelet or a fair start on a necklace.
